Grab a copy of easytoon, make a gif and post it. You could be the next ryotimo!

Easytoon: http://www.superfundungeonrun.com/easytoon/

Easytoon tutorial: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=52221

Alternatively you could use this online flipbook app:

Nice work, Bahijd! And in four hours to boot! I quite dig the effects work.

Let's keep this thread gif animation made with Easytoon. You can post your paper animation in the other thread.

Anyone know a Mac app for authentic gif anime stuff? I had a really nice one ages ago, on system 9, but can't find and forgot what it was called... it was Japanese and I never really got into it much in terms of figuring out how it all works...

Yo Bahijd~!

*Great* gif. Love the flappy Hashimoto-esque lips on the guy at the end. In answer to your question about the eraser, you just use the right-click on your mouse with any of the drawing tools - pencil, line, polygon or shapes. And it will erase. You probably don't want the width at the default 16. A lesser man, faced with an unerasable drawing would have given up! Good work.

Thanks H Park!!! (^_^)

Um, I'm not H Park.

I laughed at this so hard I spat out my coffee, I dunno why. Sorry :| Shine on you crazy diamond, Bahi!

I wanted to do a study of Yutaka Nakamura's work on Soul Eater 11, so I made this:

Image

It didn't come out too well because Nakamura's approach to form is just too advanced for someone of my skill level (read: I got lazy and just copied the shapes without paying too much attention to form). It made me appreciate his work even more than before. He clearly has an incredibly solid grounding in the fundamentals of drawing, something this new generation of gif animators probably hasn't had time or opportunity to develop - so when he does all those flashy lines and plays around with timing it really works. It's always fun to go through his animation frame-by-frame because his drawings are just loaded with detail and interesting shapes, and made up of really solid forms.

Looks good (^_^) and it would look much better with inbetweens.

I watched Nakamuras animation frame to frame too.
It's very interessting....but I actually watch all the good animations from everyone frame to frame...with VLC player.

Who I like a lot to watch frame to frame are Shinya Ohira and Shinji Hashimoto....it's very funny to watch their animations.

Sorry Huw M...this time I have no animation because I'm streesed...we have lot's of school projects this week and maths test.

But after them I will post again! (YO)

PS: Sorry to ben...again.
